Automotive Application for CCS-100 At this automobile assembly plant an existing air supply house on the roof of the plant was used to circulate and filter air into a solvent flash area in the paint system. When a new vehicle was introduced to the facility the process system required that the flash area air be heated and the supply house would have to be modified to provide heated air. The existing air supply house was un-insulated and has a service area in a hallway that is surrounded by air handling chambers. Modifications that allow the supply house to deliver air at approximately 200ºF caused three significant problems:
