Masonry Insulation Block Fill

Masonry insulation can be used to insulate concrete block, either by top fill or side or "pressure fill." It provides higher R-Values than inserts or vermiculite and is easier to install. Insulation can be installed in 10' to 12' lifts during construction. Six, eight, ten, and twelve-inch block are easily filled in both running or stacked configurations. Pressure fill applications require holes as small as 5/8" and no larger than 2" drilled directly into the masonry. Foam will flow and fill the cavity up to 12 feet in either vertical direction from the hole. Pressure filling generates a complete fill of the core and head joints as the application progresses down the run of the block wall.
