Insulating and protecting process equipment that requires access for maintenance or repair is easy with Valley's removable/re-useable insulating covers. Individually designed for each piece of equipment, these covers are made to protect your equipment from freezing, water, chemical attack or to retain expensive heat or cold. They work with or without heat tracing and are suitable for use inside and outside to prevent moisture penetration and retention.

Valves, manways, traps, strainers, PRV's, flanges, pumps, tanks, filters, micro-motion switches or any process equipment or device that needs insulation can be covered.

All covers can also be modified to control noise. Selection and design of a durable long- lasting cover that can be easily removed and reinstalled involves consideration of three factors: 

Location - Cover design is influenced by its use either inside or out, exposed to the weather.
Environment - Cover material specified for use, both hot and cold side, is determined by the environment it is exposed to (liquids or gasses, acid or caustic, and how they attack a cover).
Temperature - Both process and clean-out temperatures must be dealt with in specifying cover materials. Below-ambient applications, in particular, pose significant problems in designing a cover that is both effective and long-lasting and prevents moisture penetration and retention.
