Problem: Un-insulated package condensate collector reduces steam system
efficiency and is a major potential burn problem.

Equipment: Package condensate collector.

Location: Ford Frame Plant, Rouge Complex, Dearborn, MI

Goals:
1. Improve operating efficiency by insulating package system.
2. Save energy.
3. Protect personnel from burns.

Solution: Coat entire piece of equipment with CCS-100.

With an application of CCS-100:
  1. The entire collector is insulated, not just the tank and pumps, as is normally the case.
  2. CIS insulated this package collector at our facility for $1,700.00.
  3. CCS-100 is virtually impervious to both high & low pH attack.
  4. The equipment surface temperature is below the OSHA 140ºF burn protection level at approximately 90ºF.
