Problem: Corrosion & sweating on 40+ year old air handler.
Equipment: Old (40+ years) air handler
Location: Kindred Hospital, Lincoln Park, MI

Goals:

1. Stop corrosion.

2. Stop sweating on exterior of handler & water on the floor.

3. Extend the life of the air handler to avoid having to replace it.

Solution: Coat interior of air handler with CCS-100.

With an application of CCS-100:

1. The entire interior except the shutter and fan assemblies were coated with CCS-100.

2. Corrosion is eliminated.

3. Sweating is eliminated.

4. Useful life of the air handler is extended and replacement is avoided.

5. CCS-100 does not release particulates so it is suitable for use in plenums and air handlers.

6. CCS-100 does not promote the growth of mold.
