Problem: Corrosion under existing insulation (top right), energy loss & burn potential from un-insulated fan housing, pipes & jet dryer.

Equipment: Soybean Prep Area

Location: Riceland Soybean Plant, Arkansas

Goals:
  1. Stop corrosion
  2. Save energy
  3. Protect personnel from burns
  4. Damaged and corroded insulation - see duct at right.

Solution: Coat equipment with CCS-100

With an application of CCS-100:

  1. The hidden corrosion shown in top right picture is eliminated.

  2. The entire jet dryer is insulated, even the intricate shapes and angles.

  3. The equipment surface temperature is lowered from 300° F to below the OSHA 140° F as shown by picture of employee's hand on dryer.

  4. The fan housing, coated with CCS-100, in upper right rear, has not sustained damage like duct.

  5. Visual inspection of all CCS-100 coated equipment verifies the insulation system integrity.
